The Center for Global Policy goes through Radicalization

The Center for Global Policy developed a short video to explain the main reasons and causes why Radicalization happens.

Aimed to young and adults as well, the video lasts three minutes and the speaker goes through the main issue, clarifying the reason why people look so engaged in terrorist gangs.

The rhetoric exploited by these organizations is so effective that appeals isolated young people, by providing in the meantime a sense of belonging to a community that share same values and goals and a sense of heroic cause to fight for.

Religion represents a suitable excuse to get closer to them, but money and anger from discrimination look like compelling arguments as well, since they drive feelings of marginalized people. However, being vulnerable is one of the key factors their strategy works on.
